K-3II Question about histogram

I tried doing a search but could not find information on the histogram that appears on the LCD immediately after you take a shot. I've cycled through the menus and unchecked the histogram whenever the option was present, but still the #$* histogram appears on the LCD. I don't recall having this on either the k-5IIS or the K-3. Is this a permanent/fixed feature or is there a setting that I am overlooking? Any clarification/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

In playback mode, press "info" button to select the info to be displayed in playback.
See pages 36 and 14 of the manual.
I think that should be what you want.

Cheers,
Terry

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the tip. It didn't solve it but in the process of checking what you suggested, I stumbled upon the answer. It was under capture menu #4 - instant review. In addition to setting the length of time the instant review will display there are also settings for having the histogram and highlight correction displayed. Unchecked those puppies and voila! No more annoying histogram or highlight correction displayed.

OK, good that it's solved, but It looks like it's all covered on page 14 in my manual.

Cheers,
Terry

LOL... I live and die by my histogram. In fact, I'd be nearly ok with ONLY the histogram displayed, that's the real information I need for every shot.
