Just too small. Doesn't match with k3 design.
What I like on 43mm is the construction with all metal, but if you talk about sharpness...
Funny you should say that - the FA 43mm is one of the most drooled over lenses in the K-1 threads at the moment....

This means that you prefer 43mm instead 55mm. I believe 55mm looks better in the K-1
43mm is a very nice lens for a medium size cameras.

I don't think I'm the only one.

If i cared about how my camera looked, I'd probably have something other than 'Pentax' written on the front of it!

For me looks ridiculous in a 645z if fits.

Maybe it's because I like being different but I think my K-3 looks quite handsome! I'm a fan of the angle on the pentaprisim / flash housing, and I think the defined edges give it a nice high tech character without being too sharp. I also like that it resembles the traditional pentaprism hump shape from the days of old. (Seriously, Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta, Vivitar, Olympus, etc. all had similar humps on their earlier film SLR's.)

I also remember drooling over the angled lines of the K-30 when I first saw it, and it would have been my first DSLR if I had the money back then. When they came out with the K-50 I thought it was too generic and blended in with the Canon Rebel series, which IMHO is at the lower end of entry level DSLR's. Nikons and Canons just seem a little too rounded to me. (I like Nikon styling a little better though; some Canon cheap DSLR's almost feel like toys.)
