Firmware Update to 1.1 for K3II

Okay I have a new K3II but I'm not off to a good start. The Pentax site says I should have firmware 1.10 but it's 1.0 in the camera. The site says to download the new firmware an SD card and I did. That went well. It then says to put it on the root directory in slot one. I did. Then it says to hold the menu button while turning on the power. I did that but the camera just comes on. I've done this with my old K-3 and K20D before that with no problem. Is there a trick here that I missed. How did you get it to update?

Okay I found the other message and video that explains that I should unzip it first and then follow the designated procedure. I think I'll leave this post here just in case someone else has this problem or doesn't know that there is a 2016 firmware update for the K3-II. The video is found here. Hopefully I got that link right.

Make sure it's unzipped and really on the root, not under dcim. Try formatting the card with the camera just in case before copying the firmware file.
