I rather doubt it, although Pentax in general are so good in low light, that if you need flash, bounce/tilt/swivel with more power that doesnʻt draw on the cameraʻs battery is far superior. (Wouldnʻt it be cool if Pentax introduced the first tilt/swivel built-in flash unit?)
Without a doubt the K-1 may have drained a few Ricoh resources, but with the K-3 being 3 years old and the K-3II being 18 months since release, I would expect the next APS-C flagship (with a built-in flash) between spring 2017 and summer 2018 with greatest likelihood fall 2017.
