Better autofocus after K-3II 1.10 Firmware update?

Could it be that firmware 1.10 improved the Autofocus?

My slow Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 is not hunting as before and it's focusing close to far objects faster. A week ago I photographed my little 5 yo nephew's birthday (daylight) and I suffered with how slowly the Tamron was focusing on kids moving fast. So given that I recently put this lens to work for around 3 hours (in my nephews party) and having witness it's performance, now I'm noticing an improvement.

I have also tried with my Pentax 50mm f/1.8 and 10-17mm but as I haven't used these lenses for tracking moving subjects I can't tell if there is any improvement. They are doing OK focusing on close/far/close objects though.

I'm wondering if any of you guys, noticed something similar?

Maybe they fixed a bug specific to that lens? The update may also have reset some menu settings that were slowing the AF down (such as hold AF).

Hi Adam. Yes, maybe this new firmware fixed something because today, again, I've been testing the Tamron and is performing better than before the update.
