Funny thing! I just took a look at the K-3 II V1.10 firmware download page here Latest PENTAX K-3? Firmware Update : Software Downloads | RICOH IMAGING, and it says THIS! "Applied product PENTAX K3, K-3Ⅱ Silver Edition To check the version number, press the menu button and select [Firmware Info/Options] in the [Set-up 4] menu then press the four-way controller right.... " Implies it works with the K-3, meaning the first generation body - must be a misprint (unfortunately!)  | |
