Does the flucard o-fc1 still function properly? I am curious if it still connects online and if it will ever lose support/stop funtioning properly. I do not own one, but I am trying to understand how future proof it is for wireless connectivity.

The flucard doesn't use any online services, so yes it still works. You're thinking of eyefi.

Eye-fi still works to get photos from cam to phone, but no online service (which I never used or needed). My iPhone has independently informed me that cam to phone transfer will cease with iOS 11 "unless maker updates," so I have delayed updating my phone.
