Snap Tutorial - 'Rule of Thirds'

The second installment of the Pentax Forums Snap Tutorials! Aptly named (at least we think so), because the name is in fact a double entendre. In a photographic context, 'snap' is obvious. The other meaning refers to simplicity, brevity, etc., and that's just what these are - quick informative little guides to introduce you to a topic of photography that you may not have been previously aware of.

You wouldn't guess it from the red hair and pasty white skin (I would fit right in around your neck of the woods), and although I'm not fluent because my family stopped speaking in the house (except the native accent! woohoo!), but Spanish was my first language

You never see a bronzed Adonis Scot, why you ask... this average Highlander tanning cycle, we all start off as sort of a blue colour, so week 1 from blue to white, week 2 from white to red, week 3 red skin peels off, then back to the start and do it all over again.

This is how i generally work, but its great to see in practice.
It can make the iffy looking photo look solid in comparison if you can try take this approach.

Nice tutorial

Worth bearing in mind that selecting a corner AF point helps "force" you to think about composition in this way (unless you're using the focus & recompose technique).
