Nuthin. I blew the budget for this year and don't care for token stuff. Next year I'm going for the jugular, a lens in 30 to 32 mm range...

Oh, the 30/1.4 from Sigma, nice choice.

I got full set of chemicals for developing BW film, film tank, a few more rolls of film and a few recent ebay gear purchases (ME super, Super Program, SMC 50mm 1.7 lens, and Vivitar 70-210 zoom). Just have a few items left to get (thermometer, containers, stirrer) and I can start developing film. The Super Program is currently away for CLA and when it gets back I'll send the ME super off for the same.

Oh, and I'm 'upgrading' my cell phone by trading my smartphone with my son for his feature phone. Most people would probably consider this a downgrade, but I'm kinda old school in a lot of ways. I'm even thinking about getting back into vinyl music in 2015. Kinda crazy.

My husband bought me the Kool Aid and forced me to drink it. After pointing out a great deal to my daughter who wanted a dslr, my dear spouse assumed that I wanted it. Say hello to my new Nikon D-7000, kit lenses Nikkor AF 18-140 f 3.5 and NIkkor AF 55-300 f4.5! Although I have been a true Pentaxian for 35+ years, I drank. That's okay - I'll use my own money to buy my first prime and maybe a flash unit for my K-30.

Very....nice of him. Isn't the D-7000 the K-5 equivalent?

I'm having fun with my new toys, the ones I've got anyway, wink, but I think just maybe my cats are having even more with theirs. I just broke out the bag of catnip and toys that I had for them. Lily is up in her bed on the file cabinet licking and biting and guarding hers and Loki is either running all over the house with his in his mouth or rolling and roughhousing on the floor biting it. Methinks maybe this catnip is the strong stuff! LOL

Congratulations that was my first combo as well. The 01 is sometimes hard to find but its a real gem IMHO. I had my Q out tonight attached to my Celestron telescope (functionally in the 6k mm range) and had forgotten what a blast it can be on Super Long-Telephoto.
