Now your talking like a true professional, clients don't care two hoots about the kit used, the finished delivered image is all that matters and the last step in the chain is getting paid for said image.

Anyone seen the film Jiro Dreams of Sushi? About being one-pointed by reducing everything to perfectly executed essentials. For Jiro this is the way of the shokunin (or artisan-craftsman with a lifelong devotion to excellence for the welfare of all). An ideal, perhaps, but such a welcome antidote to the ways of the West. An enchanting film, though, with much relevance for the practitioner of any craft. You can get it on iTunes. I'd bet he would have a simple photography kit.
