Wow. Can you imagine if Ricoh Imaging US had been able to do this after Hurricane Sandy?

This is admirable effort from Ricoh and all I can say is RESPECT!
World would be much better place if other corporations would show more empaty for those in need....
I have lost my childehood photos when we were moving and that is something that money can't replace.

What an amazing gesture! Ricoh put people ahead of profit! Those victims lost so much, how great that many can still have their "lost" photos!

It's a separate issue, but yes, Ricoh doing things like this go a long way to leaving me with a good vibe with them.

Also, Ricoh on the back of the K3 was BEFORE the disaster (edit: I am wrong here - the Tsunami happened before the K3.)
Context and timeline is also important.
