Originally posted by lightbox I have to not mislead people; I'm asking strictly from the perspective of a curious "consumer" of photography and not a "producer" (in this context, at least). The only nudes I'm likely to shoot these days would be of my wife, and I would not want to put her in view of the public. There would be choice words for me and big problems otherwise
Having said that, I am curious how others (even pros) go about this kind of photography and encourage the open discussion. Great insight so far!
Wifes are off limits...lol Your on your own there buddy.....lol
I suggest getting REAL secluded somewhere.
Im single and over 50......different rules would apply if I were married. I would want complete privacy for my wife.
All the nudes I have done are very tasteful .... I hate the frank type..."sexuality" ....but love the artistic Monochrome look of a female in lanscape!

1) You want some corn and fresh roasted peanuts?
2) Get naked and I'll give them to you!
Shoot away .....they will pose as long as the corn and peanuts hold out!

You should see what they do for Pistachios !!!
Its really not at all. Being a single man and friendly have given me opportunities of a single male photographer. I have some good friends and make many while travelling around and then never see each other again.
In my minds eye I have photo ideas and simply express them. Honestly....Ive never been turned down , but then what I do is expressive and tasteful.....its not in any way pornographic but is quite sexual .....leaves a lot to the imagination.
