How Old Do I Look?

QuoteQuote:
Developers at Microsoft's Build conference severely underestimated the popularity of their experimental app, which guesses how old you are after you upload a photo of yourself.

Microsoft's How-Old.net will analyze any photo you upload, detect any faces, and guess the person's gender and age.

Tess gave it my picture twice, two different pictures, in one I was 66 in the others I was 44. Both pictures taken this year, I don't think they have all the bugs out yet.

The software doesn't seem to allow for three figures in the age box...

It estimated me anywhere from 3 to 21 years older than my actual age (from multiple photos). I'm giving it a thumbs down!

Don't do it!!!!

It's a ploy to get millions of face photos permanently stored on their servers. In the very near future when we're tracked by surveillance cameras everywhere they can use face-recognition software to build a better profile of who we are and what we do to better market to us. Of course MSFT is waaaaaayy behind Google.

And the NSA has backdoors in everything. Even PF.

Uh oh - black helicopters . . .. . .

It got me at almost 10 years younger, but my wife isn't impressed, it guessed her at 8 years older than she is
