It's been my first time voting on the proposed images to the Pentax Photo Gallery, and I'm finding my percentage of 'thumbs down' a lot higher (by a large margin) than my 'thumbs up' votes.
Am I too picky? Am I wrongly understanding what the PPG should be?
I've read some comments about the standards, and how low they seem to have become, so I'm wondering about your - the ones who vote - percentage of 'yeas & nays'...

Btw, it's not a matter of the images being portraits, or landscapes, or flowers, etc; I've voted yes in pretty much all categories...

I recently spend an hour on voting. I will never ever do that again, but was waiting for that one brilliant shot. It never came and the level was sub par on average with some nice images.

Didn't counted, but I guess for every thumb up I got 50 of them pointing down.

The level is quite low nowadays. People used to curate their own pictures to showcase their best work.
Now, it's go to the market, take 150 pictures of tomatoes and rabbit, upload, wait. Thumb down, thumb down, thumb down...
