You haven't used your camera in three days, so you shoot yourself ironing just to satiate the craving.

When your family goes on a driving tour around Iceland, and they tell you afterwards

"If we had you and your brother along, we'd have to rent two cars, so you two could stop and take take your pictures and then just meet us wherever we stop for the night..."

And we just shrug our shoulders and reply, "Sounds like a plan!"

... when, to fall asleep, instead of 'counting sheep,' you run through the focal lengths and apertures of all your lenses, from widest to longest.

(try it)

You're watching a movie. You see a scene with polygon shaped out of focus highlights. You get frustrated "They should have used a lens with rounded aperture blades!!"

You're house is on fire what do you grab:
1. Cat
2. Goldfish
3. Camera Bag
4. Wallet & Cellphone
Late to the party, as usual :

Goldfish goes in cat

Wallet and phone go in camera bag

Cat is clasped to waist to cover up the fact you sleep in the altogether, and didn't get dressed.

Ironing ? IRONING ? Waste diminishing natural resources just to move creases around ? Pshaw !! (Unless ironing one of your images onto a T-shirt, of course).

You know that you're a photographer when you show up at the doctors office using an old film canister for your stool sample
- When You know another 1000 and 1 other uses for film canisters
-When you reply to your friends naming of their 3 legged dog as tripod, as that's not a very good name as it cannot hold a camera worth crap
-When you think that its a good idea to mount your camera and telephoto lens to what looks like a gunstock'
-When you know a Tim's Hortons extra large DD when cut down makes for an excellent hood for any lens with a 62mm filter.
-When you realize that you have actually 1000 and 2 different uses for film canisters, the day you open up what you thought was your last full film canister and find out it contains 4 tums and 2 aspirin .

And the # 1 reason when you know you are a Canadian photographer.... right now you are trying to fit an extra large DD to the end of your 62mm filtered lens
