When someone says they're going to take a photo you posted on FB to Boots (UK pharmacy chain) to be printed and you nearly faint in shock. You then offer to print it properly at cost, rather than suffer the ignominy of having a photo printed small and crap quality.

Ugh, printing a photo from FB.

You have all of your favorite filters in every size-52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72.......

You have lenses that you use so little you forgot you had them.

You drive everywhere because you can't bring that much camera gear on a plane.

You figure out how non photography gear can be used for photography.

You get on Facebook just so you can post your pics.

You get mad because it's a beautiful sunny day. "Today overcast lighting would be better light for what I want to photograph."

You watch a movie just because you found out there was a certain camera model used in it. I bought the "Under Fire" DVD because Nick Nolte used a Nikon F2 in the movie.

You're sick and tired of people saying "How many megapixels do you have? 18? Well, my phone has 25-doesn't that mean it's better?"

You know you're a photographer when:
1) your credit card number is permanently on file at B&H.
2) release of a new K-mount lens is bigger news than a presidential debate.
3) you spend more time cleaning lenses than cleaning house.
4) you get upset when an old, decrepit, eyesore building is demolished before you get pictures of it.

Funny, I just seen someone at WalMart do that and be unhappy with the results.

At a painting class today, my mom pulls out an full page print out of a photo from face book and starts showing it around to everyone.... Egads... It was the landscape photo I took with the smoke from the wild fire billowing over it. Oh my, had to laugh...
