I'm trying to sell a Pentax-F 50mm f2.8 macro currently on ebay, and it looks just like my description, the thing is, it is rare, it is collectible, it is a hard to find lens, and it is minty. So what words should I use?
Heard of a thesaurus?

I wouldn't bother with the buzzwords like rare, hard-to-find, or collectible - the people who are serious about an F 50/2.8 Macro will know. If you want to attract the less-informed, based on the reviews for that lens, I'd say something about its reputation for being extremely sharp, or that it was only made from 1988-90.

So far as condition goes, just provide good pictures and give an honest description of the condition, noting any dings or dust, how focusing feels, how clean the aperture blades are, etc. That will mean more to serious buyers than "minty".

I definitely prefer listings like THoog described.
Makes me think the seller is more serious, knows what he's doing, etc.

Cheers I'm going to place the listing on here when I get time to figure out how to do it, and it will be worldwide postage.

On eBay i state UK postage only as like we have mentioned before there is some dodgy buyers and sellers, but on forums like this one, I trust everyone as its like a big family. The worlds a smaller place now so posting to the other side of the world isn't a big deal anymore.

It's true though, you spend more time chatting to people on forums around the world then you do with half of your family.
