K3 fireworks jaggieness?

Hi there,

I was just going through my New Year's Eve fireworks images (my first fireworks shoots at all) as I noticed some heavy jaggieness in it. I shoot with an K3 and without AA-Filter. They can be seen easy in the long fireworks trails.
Is this normal for an K3 without AA-Filter enabled? I know fireworks is a special lightning situation. I can see the same jaggieness in my raw viewer (ufraw) so I guess this is not dye raw conversion.

I croped an 100% example:

If you want you can also take a look at the raw file:

I downloaded your raw file and processed it. Pixel peeping at 100% confirms the jaggedness and I think it is as one would expect at 100% from a Bayer sensor.

I concur, due to the inherent nature of Bayer sensors jaggies are expected to appear when no AA filter is present, sometimes they appear even if there is an AA filter in the optical path.

Just like moire, this is an aliasing artefact, and enabling the AA simulator should take care of it. Over-sharpening in post can make it worse. This is not a problem limited to Bayer sensors, by the way.
