Last of the front-engine Corvettes. Z06-1LZ, 7-speed manual, Z07 Performance Package, Corvette Racing yellow with black hood detail. None of the racer-boy Carbon graphite. Just a very fast street driver.

I'd use black though, it looks super classy for most DIY camera gear. Silver would be perfect for home repairs of those fancy schmancy silver limited lenses.

Watch list:
- DA 16-85 (at about half the existing price). The 18-135 will do fine in the meantime.
- DA*300 with HD converter (but the price would need to drop a lot first)

Wish list (I can wish for things that don't exist):
- F*300 reissued with HD coatings, WR, QS and DC autofocus. People say it is optically superior to the DA*300, and appreciably lighter.
- 55-300 with DC AF. (Love the quiet AF on the 18-135. Why couldn't it be done on the longer zoom?)
- DFA 28mm f2.8 and DFA 24 f2, based on the FA versions
- Complete Zeiss range to be available in K-mount
- Jun Hirakawa to be rehired by Ricoh and given a free hand and substantial budget.
