Does anyone know if having the strap fit in like this, will it warp the metal key-chain lug piece (Don't know they're called)? How safe is it having the strap like this compared to having it strapped down the bottom?

I also found out a solution to drop-phobia. Add a mountain climbing hook on to the strap and the arca swiss plate alongside with the real BlackRapid hook. Only problem though is you might still be scared that the Arca Swiss plate unwinds by itself and the camera drops.

No strap. But when I used one it was the Crumpler Industry Disgrace. I like it a lot but need one with a quick release.

i'm a happy op/tech sling strapper for a few years now too.. scraped the logo off when I first got it because I'm weird about logos... Don't have an arca type head so use these screws.

Currently none - Gordys Wrist strap - really like it.

When not in use the camera gets stuffed in a back pack or briefcase as I am nervous of the camera swinging about and dinging itself or lens on door jams and so on or being a bit dorky hanging in front.

I have just ordered three Peak Design straps - a Slide, a Slide Lite and a Sling. I have a Black Rapid double harness for event shooting, but it's a bit unwieldy for day-to-day use and I've never really liked the standard neck straps.

Guess I'll find out soon if they're any good

My Pentax neck strap is still in it's original packaging. What I prefer is the Op/tech wrist strap. When the camera is not being used or carried long distance I just put it into the bag.

Bert, try a handstrap; you might like that better.

Optech has a few different options, here's one:

OP/TECH USA SLR Wrist Strap

I don't like the idea of the single attachment point, but I plan to make one with paracord and padding that also uses the tripod mount
