Some people...

I have a SMC Pentax-M 75-150mm lens for sale on the local Craig's List.

Message: Do you still have the lens?
Me: Yes, I do.
Message: Is it a good lens?
Me: Yes, it is a very nice, clean lens, as the photos in the ad indicate.
Message: Is it sharp?
Me: Yes, it is very sharp.
Message: Does it take sharp pictures of people?
Me: Yes.
Message: Does it take sharp pictures of landscapes?
Me: Yes, it takes sharp pictures of whatever you're photographing.
Message: Will it fit a Canon C camera?
Me: No, as is says in the as, it is a Pentax "K" mount lens.
Message: What does that mean?

.......... I give up. No more replies. It just ain't worth my time and trouble for a $50 lens.

What scares me is that these folks vote with about the same level of knowledge.

I think this?
Canon Cinema EOS - High Quality Cinema & Motion Picture Cameras

But who'd want to put a cheap old Pentax zoom lens on them?

Why people don't use google or this thing called internet to answer their questions is beyond me.

Thanks for brightening my day.
I've been dealing with that sort of intelligence all day long.
Glad I'm not alone.

I feel for you because I have been in the same boat many times!
Recently:
K7 for sale ... very low shutter count.
Gave the guy an excellent price too and include all the bells and whistles for description and related photos (lots).
He says "looks good"
I'm waiting
One week later, he says: "I'll skip the K7 because I just acquired a K5"
I say: OK
Three weeks later that same guy: "I'll need the K7 as a backup camera"
I say: OK, I'll hold it for you. I still have it.
No return email since (10 days now)
It's going to the Marketplace soon and if he ever shows up .... too bad unless he wants to pay for it NOW.

What other is annoying about Craigslist is that they try to low ball you to hell and they don't understand what a firm price is.

"Some people are total IDIOTS!"

I only opened this because Otis sent me an urgent message saying someone had called for me. You know, sometimes I think rodent proofing is a good idea.

That's what I think every time when I see on eBay lenses full of fungus, which are described as EXC+++
