Photographer Attaches LED to Drone for Hauntingly Beautiful Photos at Night

I came across this article and rather than shoot night landscapes with a drone, shoot the landscapes with the lighting provided by the drone. There is a video at the end that show how he took the shots...

All I can think of is the horrendous noise of the drone in that empty landscape. Why not just wait for the moon like everyone else?

Can't wait for the first report of a drone to mysteriously disappear over the desert until found crashed on the ground. I imagine a territorial Great Horned Owl would take a run at one of these drones and trash it.

The moon would not light a specific area of the landscape, rather the entire landscape. If the landscape is empty, who would hear it?

I really love those photos!

Geologic formations that have taken many centuries to form.

An evening or two of a noisy drone flying about.

A fraction of a second in the epoch of time.

All in a very remote place where the only people that may hear it are the photographer and his assistant.

Meh.

I'm thinking that whatever tiny impact the noise pollution may have caused is over now.

And in another million years it will have been forgotten by time.

As is a quiet night or a man's life.

... and, of course, "people" and their needs are the only life that deserves consideration.
