Oh my, having just looked at the link @serothis posted, I've now found this:

Hasselblad Made a Phone Attachment That Adds RAW and 10x Zoom

I own one of Hasselblad's Sony-based products which were a huge, expensive re-branding failure. I thought the big H had learned its lesson, but no... Phone attachments, already... Is nothing sacred?

this is the trend these days. Trying to cram big camera features into camera phones. Anyone remember the Samsung S4 CAMERA phone? Or how about the Nokia lumia 1020 with the 41 megapixel camera? There also a ILC mirror less camera attachment made by Sony.

Granted, these are much more advanced then the "Bolt On" (to borrow a phrase from my wannabe tuner days) lenses but still its in the same vein going after the same target audience....

A 75% discount? They have either sold millions of them and are rolling in money or they have a warehouse full of them that they can't sell.
"We charge our regular customers 3% commission. But because you were referred by one of our top clients we're able to offer you a substantial discount and quote our full suite of services for only 1% per year on assets managed."

Where have I heard that one before?

I guess I will have to stick with my K1.....Mama Squirrel just informed me she had rather I use the $29 to buy more roasted peanuts than to take great pictures.....

I wonder if she has ever considered dieting...those belly rolls are worse than mine!

Sure, it's not a smart phone, but it will have to do for now.

Regards!
Costco sells very large bags of roasted unsalted peanuts for a very low price. The eastern Gray squirrels in my yard love them. I fill the feeder box with then and the squirrels completely ignore the sunflower seed feeders I set out for the birds. Does Mama squirrel know about this?

Yep, 5lb for about $5, and those peanuts are pretty good.

To be fair, this isn't a simple snap on camera lens or something. It adds a whole knew sensor, stacking/retractable zoom lens, Xenon flash... as well as dedicated shutter button and zoom controls. It's basically a thin point and shoot that uses the cellphone for the viewfinder. However they have admitted the Holy on the outside is one of the few things Hasselblad. All the interior parts etc are outsourced. Bad move on their part imo... they are basically being advertised by an inferior product.

Imo a much better product than those clip on lenses, but still not a patch on our DSLRs.

Nest he will have us all buying Fuji cameras.

How are Mrs. Rupert's home renovations coming? The price we pay for toys......

And it only works with a certain Motorola phone.

Hello Moto.
