Will anyone want my K1?

Just cruising on the internet and I came across this where .......
"DSLR Camera Makers Are In A Panic!"

Since everything on the internet must be true, I am wondering if it will be difficult to get rid of all my Pentax gear and just spent $29 for one of these and get better shots with the phone in my pocket? The shots posted are better than mine....which means there is still hope I can be a Pro with one of these?

If I offer my stuff for free and pay shipping.....you think I will get any takers?

Lux HD450

Regards!

29 bucks is much too expensive for me Rupert. I'm gonna wait a little until the price comes down, or get a " good " used copy.

No way will I help you out. Mrs Rubert bought you your K1 and you will just have to suffer with it.

Thanks for the link, I was just about to order it until I realized that I don't own a smart phone. And before others jump on me for having a flip phone, I don't even have one of those.

What kind of vacation does one use a 70-300 as the only lens and how can anyone forget to back their dslr? It's not like it is a small thing.

What a bunch of suckers we've all been with our dslrs, clunky lenses, tripods, filters and the like.

My new phone has leica lenses apparently. Huawei P9...

It is so good, I no longer need a 150-450 on a K3ii for shooting fast moving sports with one of those lenses....

And! He did NOT turn back. Idiot. Some people don't have respect for things they have and therefore, do not deserve those things. Forgot your expensive camera and was lazy to turn around and go back for it? Obviously that granpa has money to waste. ... Idiot...

Your K-1 has suffered extensive squirrel exposure. That sort of thing is almost as bad as nuclear radiation. I will pass.

I don't know, I think you're all being a bit too quick to criticise and discount these lenses as rubbish... the Lead Technologist in Stuttgart (not China, mind you - Stuttgart, Germany, land of fine lenses) says they're the best...

I wonder if they do them in K-mount?
