You folks should come to the UK to photograph the moon. We have some of the best cloud cover in the world

In fairness, tonight we did get clear skies... but the so-called supermoon didn't look all that super. I got a few shots to add to my library of all-very-similar moon photos...

Public content, yes, but there are places where the Fragile Speshul Snowflakes would report you to HR for having it on your desk. Western society seems to making a rapid retreat to the fainting couch, and perhaps a return to smelling salts is on the cards.
Maybe, but who really listens to the whinge of a fragile snowflake?

Well apparently they're getting university professors in the US sacked or suspended for hurting their widdle pwecious feewings and demanding (and GETTING) exam waivers because the election result traumatised them so much. Hell, it appears, hath no fury like a Snowflake scorned.

I'm reaching an age where making some yellow snow sounds like fun. (Yeah, I'm getting old and cranky.) Anyway, for those who missed the 'supermoon', there will be another one next month on December 14th. The astronomy calendar shows the next one after that will be a year later on December 3rd 2017

With global warming trends, I expects those of us alive in 2034 can look forward to more clouds. Climb a mountain and you will not only improve your chances of being above the clouds, youʻll be much closer to the moon. I almost touched it once.

You're obviously thinking of the 2034 Super Moon, Jim. I was referring to the much-less-publicised-but-infinitely-more-impressive 2044 Really Super Moon. 28 years from now, yessiree...
