True. And more than a few of us have a streak of collector in us.
Quote: Myself, lately I've been heading the opposite direction. I've been looking at pictures I took with my old Finepix S5200 5 Mpix point and shoot. I absolutely love some of the pictures I got with that camera! And I like to think I've learned a thing or two since then, so I wonder what I could do with that camera today? Or a little MX-1? I think with a good P&S my DSLRs could easily be relegated to wildlife duty (which would be nearly every weekend).
Sort of the same here. Not much love for my old P&S images (although some of them aren't too bad), but after I got a small and light large-sensor compact (a GR in my case) the DSLRs have spent more time at home. I have even contemplated getting a m43 body and prime to get a small kit with more reach than the GR. The problem is all the adapters that open up the entire universe of vintage lenses. Not sure I dare go down that path
