The Great Holiday Photo Disaster of 2016

I just took some of THE WORST photos I've ever taken. The fact that they are holiday photos just makes it even worse (better?). Here is the train of thought that led up to this result.

"I just got the 8mm Rokinon. I wonder how it would be to take pictures of myself lying on the ground with the camera right above me?"

"It's the holiday season! Why don't I wrap myself in Christmas lights?"

"I'm lying on the floor wrapped in Christmas lights! Why don't I look exasperated by the holiday season! You know, eyes closed, tongue out, that sort of thing?"

"Well if I'm going to be all dramatic like that, why don't I just light myself with a spotlight-like effect from above with my flash?"

The result?

CORPSE.

I LOOK LIKE A CORPSE.

IT'S A HORROR MOVIE AND I'M A CORPSE AND I STRANGLED MYSELF DEAD WITH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS.

...

...

...I don't think I'll be sending those to the in-laws

I think failures are very instructive. I'm sorry you don't feel this has educational value to outweigh your corpse pose. Lol.
