Correct. Smelling blue is possible... hearing brown and green. I speak from experience... but from a distant past.

Reminds me of a friend I had in college who was blind. She said she wanted to try LSD so she could hear colors, since she couldn't see them. To my knowledge, she never did. Her favorite parting line--"Feel ya later!"

Yes, gut wrenching heart break. To many of us, cameras become quite a personal possession, and although it really is just an inanimate tool, it feels like it's more than that.

But for every dark cloud there is a silver lining, and as I had an entire system of 4 Minoltas and 6 lenses taken, it gave me a fresh start with a whole new system. Thankfully the idiot didn't touch my Pentax 645 or my three 645 primes and it has been my medium format system ever since I stopped shooting with a Yashica TLR.

Yes... I doubt that would work. For it to work you would have to have the sensory input to then scramble to another sense. I know deeply the color of content. But that's another story.
