There are resin castings available of the calculator display lenses. I guess a purist would want the real thing. Do they look for 45 year old windshield blades too for the handle grips?

Very interesting stuff, though I can't help feeling a slight tinge of sadness knowing that so many original pieces of (in many cases, working) equipment are being cannibalised to make replica light sabers. I far prefer the idea of resin reproductions.
