Posting to Hongkong

I need to post some triggers to Hongkong.

Registered mail with tracking will cost me 43€
Regular mail will cost me 12.50€

I am trying to save on this. How safe will it be to send it via regular mail? Any experience?

No experience, but I'd be considering factors like speed (if for a repair), replacement value of items, proof of delivery. I take it the triggers are worth more than 43Euro?

If for a refund, what could you get selling locally?

If for repair, how much for straight replacements and maybe advertise what you have for spares/repairs?

Wait, is it TO HK, or FROM HK?
I have little experience with shipping from China (not sure which city). Shipping was free, the items came with no damage, but it took 3 months to get to EU. I think Chinese online shops are more suspect than the post. Packaging is important, though! Especially with delicate items. Lots of padding.

I am sending the triggers for refund. Yes the are worth over 100€.

I wish I could get them sold locally. But that will never happen.

To HK.
I am using the original packaging. So no problem there.
I I am using the the cheap post I probably will have to buy a padded envelop.

I was told it will take 1 week to get to HK from Finland.

Weird - tracked / signed for postage is only about £5 extra if you use Royal Mail from Britain. But that only insures up to £50. I take it these are worth more.
