For all you Birders - don't forget some worms for your friends!

Saw this the other day, and couldn't help thinking about all the bird pictures I've tried to take: The Other Coast by Adrian Raeside for Jun 10, 2017 | Read Comic Strips at GoComics.com

If you don't drench your neighborhood with pesticides, they'll find food. Habitat loss is the biggest problem now, of course. Here and in the tropics where they winter.

Great shots of birds with meals!

A good worm is eaten alive, that's the best guarantee that the worm isn't past its "best before date". A human being may not know what's the most tasty worm and how to select, the bird will know from his experience.

Funny what the right food can do: we've been hearing Black-Headed Grosbeaks for quite some time, but never saw one until I put out feeder with their happy mix of seeds All this time I thought the robins were singing a drunken variant of their twilight chirp, it's been the Grosbeak! Worm-eaters are finding more than enough around here, we're just under 100 inches of rain since 1 July. Sooo close to expanding the western-Washington rain forest acreage..
