Flickr Followers - as much a curse as a blessing?

Back to those who only wanted to privately share--I have been a Smugmug user for at least, oh, 12 years? The site has just gotten better and better. I always thought that Photobucket looked rubbish, and now those chooks have come home to roost. Originally, and up to about 18 months ago, my uploads to Smugmug were only for the ability to post to forums. But with increased ease of sharing via Android, and the Smugmug app, I use it to share to WhatsApp. Very easy and with good resolution. And the large amount I now have stored there, and the easy to navigate gallery systems, makes it very easy to recall and show content from years ago if required.
I don't do Facebook, as I find WhatsApp lets you totally control access and share as little or much as required, to groups or individuals.
