it seems, however, when you import photos as described, the EXIF data isn't apparent
When I share from Flickr the EXIF data are always there. A recent image offered as an example.

looking at your image I see no indication of EXIF info

I have to click on your image and be directed to it on Flickr before I can click on the EXIF link to see data

when I post directly to the forum from my computer, there is a link visible to the EXIF- " View Picture EXIF " in red right above the photo upper left

wonder why I can't see same visible link on yours ?

And I need to click on your image to get the EXIF too. Who really cares that it is on a different website?

Much as I love Pentax Forums, the viewing experience in their galleries is not in the same league in my opinion.

you right, no big deal, just my lack of computer skills makes me uncomfortable doing it that way

I'm lazy

and like the info all in one place, so I don't have to open new windows

Flickr is the site I use to store and display as well

Looks like I'll give Flickr a shot. I just want to archive and share the odd photo online to get opinions on camera problems, flares, smudges, cleaning, etc... Like "What's causing this in the picture" sort of thing.

Thanks again guys.

I play guitar and HDR reminds be of wah with guitar. Anybody can sound good with a little wah just like any picture looks good with HDR.

Are there contests that have rules that stipulate no post processing?

Very nice example. But both wah and HDR can be overdone.

For the contests on this site, generally anything goes.

HDR is cool for landscape shots like tropical beaches and waterfalls. Very popular with astro. But I agree it can be overdone.

For one of your first pictures posted I'd say you're doing pretty well. Lookout competitions, here comes a new heavy hitter!

Just looked at your other two pictures and now I'm starting to eye that lens myself.
I will not be awake early enough to catch morning fog however. I'm not that dedicated to photography.

you could add your flickr.com account to your signature if you wish so folks could find it.
