What would it be like to see the images. DuckDuckGo blocked most of them.

Seems an arbitrary function of the proportion and general location of uncovered to covered skin.

And note that this master of portraits uses really just two lenses, the equivalent of the FA43 and 60mm, whether she's doing headshots or full body.

These are wide to normal, not teles.

look at the top right corner of DuckDuckGo.com, and click on the 3 horizontal lines. This will take you to a menu where you can choose, "Other Settings", and from there, you can change the "Safe Search" option to filter some or no content.

A lot of people get way too hung up on lenses. Clay Enos did a great street portrait series years ago using nothing but a 50mm on a full frame camera. The way he put it was something to the tune of "if I want close I AM close."

Agreed - lenses are fun, but we don't need so many.

There's another element in the mix here, too - specialisation. Lots of us (and I certainly fall into this trap) photograph anything and everything, without concentrating on a particular type of shot. Again, it's fun, but it limits progress by spreading us too thinly. I've picked up a wide range of skills and learned many techniques, but all at a relatively basic level. I'm not particularly good at any of them

Thanks for sharing this work all done on the 645D which are now almost the price of a new K-1.

She's got skilz, so I reckon she'd go alright with your K-S1 and choice of Super Taks.

(Laughs).

Learning photography, I've given most things a go, including fantasy portraiture. The background replacement's one thing, you still have to get the subject right ... and this is with an unforgiving beauty dish.
