Free wildlife photography eBook from Sigma Imaging (UK)

Sigma Imaging UK is offering a nice, free eBook that you can download from their website, here:

https://www.sigma-imaging-uk.com/image/data/pdf/eBook/A%20guide%20to%20Insta...hotography.pdf

It's actually a compilation of articles from Wild Planet Photo magazine, and is obviously a marketing feature to promote Sigma lenses; but it should be of general interest to anyone who likes wildlife photography. I've had a quick look through it... there's some lovely photography and useful information, though it's rather cursory in nature. Still... worth downloading

Funny thing Sigma reached us through their promoting campaign when they actually do not support Pentax cameras. Worthy reading though.

Well, I got the link via e-mail from Sigma... I have a couple of their lenses in K-mount - the 17-50 f/2.8 and 18-300 - so I'm in their database

Thanks. I will enjoy this.

I don't own very many Sigma lenses but their 50mm 2.8 Macro is one of my favorites and has been for many years.

You're probably in more databases than you realize...

I've got their 70-200, 180 macro and 20-40 Ex lenses which are great. Pity they stopped supporting Pentax.

That Sigma 70 is such an awesome lens. But no WR ended it's life in my camera bag. Plus it was big and heavy. I love it for walks up and down the driveway though, and it's by far my favourite portrait lens on the K-1 or on APS-c.

Big and heavy is my Vivitar Series 1 90-180mm flat field zoom.
