What Camera Gear Did You Get For Christmas?

I’ll start:

Peak Designs Slide convertible strap for my K-1.

Daughters each got a Polaroid OneStep2 Camera and six packs of Color 600 Film from their brother (my son). Hit present of the day.

EDIT: Posted elsewhere my brother sent me a gift card and I bought an FA100/2.8 Macro in the Marketplace with it.

Great topic. Well for Christmas I received a Pentax k-5 body. The seller was generous enough to get the package here on the 23rd of December. I have read many glowing reviews and ratings on this piece and I am looking forward to producing some hopefully outstanding pics for all to enjoy. Happy Holidays to all.

I got a DA* 300/4, a lens for which I have little need but - nonetheless - for which I've had a hankering for several years. When I stumbled across the fact that this big guy covers the FF sensor in my K-1, resistance was futile - I ordered one, which my wife wrapped and handed to me during our gift exchange last night.

From myself I purchased a DA40 limited and DA35 Macro limited, both SMC versions. As gifts I got lens hoods for my 01, 02, and 06 Q lenses. I want to give the Q-S1 another go. Some new Wasabi batteries for the K-1, K3, and the K-01. It is great that they all use the same battery. Also got a Breakthrough 67mm polarizer filter.

A Pentax battery grip for my *ist film camera. Bought my youngest son a Pentax WG-1 with all cables and 2 batteries. He’s hard on things and that camera is indestructible, $40 on eBay in great condition.

I know the feeling. As soon as I paid for the Pentax k-5 I was beset with buyer's remorse. It is a fine camera, but I do not see any difference in IQ than with the k-50. They do mirror each other. As my close, personal friend Tony Soprano would say, "hey, waddayagonnado?". ))

Not specific equipment but two books of walks one in the local area and one nationwide which will, hopefully, encourage me to get out and take more photos.

Nothing!

I did get the most recent book by my favourite photographer (Obie Oberholzer) - smuggled out of South Africa (for some bizarre reason, it's not available elsewhere) by one of my wife's cousins for her to give me

I picked a Panasonic GX85 and 2 lens kit as a bday+xmas gift from my wife to me. It's micro 4/3 system. That will be my lightweight travel camera.

No Pentax gear this year. My K-1 and lenses have me set for quite some time. (there are 2 used lenses I casually hunt for, but low priority, and unfortunately nothing new has similar specs)

It was a great camera Christmas for me. I received a KP and a FA 24-70 ( I have a K1 to use it on) from my wife. A tripod trolley from my oldest son and a book from my sister about Edward Curtis a photographer in the late 1880 who photographed native American which I have started to read and it is a good read
