Pentaxians of Instagram

Did a little search on the forum but didn't find a thread like this.
I've eschewed Instagram for the longest time, as it just didn't make sense to me to snap pix of my food with my mobile phone or post the same shenanigans I put on Facebook again on another channel to be seen by the same people. Until somebody said: why don't you just post your real photos. Add that to a lightroom plugin I found to directly upload pix from there and I was hooked.

Now I'm wondering: where are the Pentaxians of Instagram? I want to follow you #pentax is quite a decent hashtag but mainly used by Japanese members.

Hi Rojaba,
I have also just opened an Instagram account. Until recently I have been using only Flickr and Facebook to share photos. Flickr for general public and Facebook more for freinds and aquaintances. However, recently I have noticed a shift away from Facebook towards Instagram, particularly amongst younger people - so I have decided to give it a try. Anyway, I would like to add you and anyother Pentaxians who have instagram accounts! Thanks

Hej,

I am also sharing photos my photos on Instagram, my id being "sealightarts" ...started about using it last summer, and ever since it's the place I post most frequently

Instagram is nowadays the most easy platform to share photos to a wide audience. Sites like Flickr and 500px is more known and used by photography enthusiasts. Anyway, I've been sharing photos on Instagram since 2015, but stepped up my game last year.

If you don't want to use LR plugin, Later is fairly decent website where you can schedule you social media posts with your favourite hashtags. Very convenient IMO.

There are some great Pentax photographers on Instagram. As stated before following hashtag #teampentax is a good place to start.
