This is a hand-held long exposure of rush hour traffic that I took from my parking garage one rainy evening. I always liked the blur because it seemed to add a sense of chaos to things. But I guess not everyone felt that.

Call it ICM and everyone will Oooh! over it

But that's the great thing of having a mancave I hang it on my walls. I think all photographers NEED a place to hang there favorite photos.

I took a picture of a road-killed skunk and made it into a poster, which is now hanging in my home office. All-time blank stare champion.

Pentax autofocus was a bit slow..... so missed getting the Carps eyes in focus.

I really like this photo - an early one from my first few 35mm BW rolls...

I used to show it to people (friends and such) when they asked after learning about my then-new hobby. Lots of "meh" responses. My wife does not like the photo either (she's the subject). Not because it is a bad pose, but because she cannot make her features - that is what I really like about it, a bit of mystery and lots of character on this shot, from my point of view.

I like what you like - but I dislike that she is superimposed onto a dark object so she is not only in shadow but even the hint of her is hidden. To me that's too much obscurity. but I can see why you like it.

But Yes I can see a lot of people just being turned off by the subject rather than looking at it for photo excellence.

Time to jump into the fray. I've always liked this photo, if nothing else but for it's shear quirkiness. Friends and family see it and give me the proverbial look that's like a pat on the head that says "it's okay, someday you might be a real photographer" ha!

I'm an arachnophobe, but love this picture. Most shots of spiders only show the face and body, or are taken from above. The legs are brilliant here.

I find the Japanese one particularly beautiful. It has a genuine timeless quality as for flickr, I get no feedback whatsoever on there and just use it as a repository
