for me its:
Vagabrothers - travel based with lots of B-Roll video and photography content
Tony & Chelsea - general info about everything
sean Tucker
Photo Extremist - i wish he was more active. i learn so much from him, and then he disappears for 5 years. comes back for 2 or 3 weeks and then goes away again.
Peter Mckinnon - B-roll and photography and travel related stuff. plus, he's from my city too
Manny Ortiz - down to earth, and yet very talented and eager to teach us.
Jessica Whitaker & Irene Rudnyk - both have great dreamy look in their portraits.
Jessica Kobeissi - great business and creative tips
Jason Lanier - not sure how i feel about him. his personality rubs me the wrong way. i've met him and he's cool. but, i dont know...
Gavin Hoey - so brilliant at everything he does!
Dennis The Prescott - food and portrait photography

Definitely some stuff to check out there - I'm familiar with the Nortrups, Sean Tucker and Peter McKinnon, but that's about it - thanks

David DuChemin's Vision is Better series is a good talking head series, though he doesn't do any photography or editing on camera

Great thread! I'll have to follow some of the recommendations above! For myself, so far:

- Simon Baxter: not as many vids or as regular as some others, but his photography is fantastic, IMHO, and I love his attitude... & Meg!
- Thomas Heaton: often mentioned upthread, and always enjoyable, though maybe a bit less since he got a rail, not sure why...
- Thomas Shahan: very few vids, but a Pentax shooter and my favorite macro shooter.

Honorable mentions to Sean Tucker, Gavin Hoey and TCS TV.

I have to say it's quite humbling to see the work of these photographers/cinematographers who manage to not only shoot great photos, but also make enjoyable short films about the process of shooting great photos!

p.s.: if you like portraiture, you might also enjoy this series of shorts on Arte (in French with English subtitles) by photographer Stéphane Lavoué about the story behind some of his famous people shots...

Yes - I'm familiar with them - good spread - I must admit I've never really got Ben Horne - I can respect what he does, but it seldom stirs me - but that's probably my problem

I also like Craig Roberts (E6 Vlogs).
Another shout out for Craig. I have not watched many of his videos, but this one is well worth your time I think:

Time to update this thread

Fototripper has some really good and humorous content:

fototripper - YouTube

Then there is Adam Gibbs:

Adam Gibbs - YouTube

and Nick Page:

Nick Page - YouTube

All worth viewing IMO, and sometimes seen together for bonus fun.

No one since Digital Rev dropped Kai and Lok. Most channels are insufferable with their annoying over the top "youtuber" personalities, or teeth grating bias.

But Kai had/has one of the most annoying on-screen personalities of them all, ZA!

At least he likes Pentax products, though.
