I have to ask because i could not follow this action myself. What are the top 3 cameras you would want in this situation. I think nikon d500 by far. What pentax af settings would be best?

Nikon? Sorry never heard of them.

OK, I think I remember them now and I think the D500 might be a nice camera.

Thinking about my cameras, I would go with the K1 first, the K3ii second and the 1940s Flexaret third.

Thinking about my lenses, I would go with the DA* 300mm 1st, 2nd and 3rd. If the lovely people at Sigma would like to give me a 500mm prime to try out, I would probably make that my first choice.

The settings I would have would be TAV mode with a shutter speed of 1/1600s and an aperture of F8 if there was enough light to keep the ISO at 1600 or less. Otherwise go for wider aperture first, then slow the shutter speed to 1/1200s. I would use single point (centre point ) continuous AF.
