Haha dunno how many Brazilians there are in Florence... perhaps in the more touristy parts of the city center... but if they can afford the plane ticket to Italy, then they probably don't care much as they are probably well-off; and they don't follow soccer that much, or they would have flown to Russia instead

I was thinking more about the fact that really destitute people often look for something to cling to, to give them a sense of hope, be it soccer, religion or whatever... and in Brazil there's plenty of really poor people.

Russia is going to have a really tough one tonight. Fingers crossed though. The city is gonna be on fire anyways) sucks that I have to work late tonight and gonna be on my way home during the game.
