I was FF ready when got Supertak 50mm and Helios 44-K, and wanted K-1 badly for those two.
But now my most used lenses on K-1 are FA77mm, DA*300 f4, Sigma 35mm Art, and Tamron 90mm macro.

I am far from ready. The 40 and 70 limiteds will see some use as will the M 50 f1.7, SMC 200 f4 and maybe the F35-80.
I'd probably trade the 70 toward a D-FA 28-105 later.

Then i'd go-a bag huntin!

Firmly in the APS-C camp. Not in some rigid or narrow-minded way, but rather because FF offers so comparatively little over what I can already do when pushing the envelope a little on APS-C.

Couldn't justify the costs for meaningfully upgrading anyway. (Currently, I own zero genuine FF lenses.) But even if I could, I wouldn't be willing to put up with the bulk and weight of a FF setup. Nor would I want to forgo my DA lenses (10-17, 55-300, 15 Ltd., 35 Ltd. Macro, 50).

Don't happen to like the KP ergonomics, but when Ricoh releases a true, more than incremental K-3 successor, I will be seriously tempted.

I was handed an unexpected pile of cash, before that i was with you on this. Then I figured, "what the heck, spoil yourself a bit." But without that happening I still wouldn't have one, and as time goes on, I shoot more with my K-3 than I do with the K-1.

Yep, can't say I disagree with this.

Nor with this (although the 10-17 and 55-300 are usable with constraints, and the 50 should work just fine).

That was my plan as well. But then...

...this happened - combined with a secondhand K-1 cropping up at the right time. Common sense left the room (Long story short; I lost my job, got a new job before my severance package was through so had a few months of double pay - and I felt that I needed a consolation prize!)

savoche, how have you taken to using the K-1? What lenses are you using with it and are most happy with? Anything lenses you wish you had?

Yep bring it on, my "Ladies" just were gagging for the K1s arrival, cos they were getting tired of that last FF bodies (LX) they had to play with.

I find the K-1 absolutely wonderful, a joy to use. The poor K-3 has seen no use at all after I got it. Not because the K-3 is a bad camera - it certainly isn't. It's just that the K-1 is better in most ways.

Without having checked my library I would say my most used lenses at home are
* DA 70
* A 20
* FA 43
* FA 31
* DA 10-17
* DFA 100
* FA 28 (because it's more compact than the 31)

...and on holiday
* DA 55-300
* DFA 28-105

Happy with all of them, really, although a compact tele zoom that doesn't vignette would be mighty nice! An updated wide and compact prime would be nice, too, but the A 20 performs well.

That's interesting. I used it on film but it's hard to tell if there are limitations. Do you use it unrestricted?

I was FF ready before the K1 came out but I had planned my purchases that way from the start. My kit consists of Pentax primes and Tamron zooms. A couple of Samyang lenses to fill in the gaps. Have had my K1 for 18 months now and I love it. I rarely shoot my K3 anymore even though it's still great. I just love the handling of the K1.

Samyang 14mm f2.8
Pentax F 28mm f2.8
Pentax DA 35mm f2.4
Pentax FA 50mm f1.4
Pentax DA 50mm f1.8
Samyang 85mm f1.4
Tamron 90mm Macro f2.8
Tamron 28-75 f2.8
Tamron 70-200 f2.8

Also a few Takumars because you just can't beat the build and feel and they still make great images.

Takumar 28mm f3.5
Takumar 35mm f3.5
Takumar 55mm f1.8
Takumar 135mm f3.5

The APSC lens I wish was FF is my DA 15mm but the Samyang 14mm works pretty well for me. I don't really feel like I am missing anything at the moment for lenses. Maybe a 20 or 24mm would be nice. A DA* 300mm might be in my future as well.

Being retired and having basically no real income, "upgrading" to 135 format is not in the cards. The majority of my go to lenses are APS-C and I just can not afford to "replace" all of those lenses. So called Full Frame is very expensive and is just out of the question for me.

My collection of Pentax K mount FF lenses =>
One zoom (Tokina 28-70)
Three primes (FA-50, Rokinon 85mm, Vivitar 300mm)
Not a real nice set of lenses to work with as compared APS-C lenses/bodies.

Yes, I find the DA 70 to perform very well. I haven't done any thorough testing, though. I mostly use it as a walk-around lens and rarely shoot it wide open, so it might be there are some weaknesses there that I haven't noticed.

I would say adequately rather than very well. It vignettes significantly and the corners are pretty poor on full frame, but if your subject is in the middle it is certainly useable.

After a bit of testing on the K-1, I only use it on crop (where it's awesome).

...for the moment, perhaps. When the next Pentax 35FF comes out, a secondhand K-1 might be an achievable buy for you.
