APS-C Nikon camera spotted during FIFA World Cup 2018

And while most people discuss about Full frame vs. APS-C, and that APS-C is not professional...this red APS-C Nikon was recently spotted during the France vs Peru FIFA 2018 football match last week. I believe it's a Nikon D3200 or D3400 with 24MP, 4 frames per second...

I couldn't find a better video quality, I know that the logo is not clear but believe me, I watched the game live and I'm 100% sure is a Nikon camera

I think what you are actually seeing here is a Silicon cover to protect the camera, quite common. as the camera body does look quite big.

Having said that, many of the Nikon birders are using the D500, which is an APS-C

I own a black Nikon D3200 and this camera looks much taller, also the red D3200 color is darker kind of a maroon color.

That looks like a D500 in a silicone cover. Maybe the Nikkor 70-200 E f/2.8 mounted on it.

Eye-catching color for sure.
And yes, it's not the usual "Nikon red", which has a more cherry-like shade, like the new Renault Twingo in chrome red - I believe it's called Red Passion or somesuch, probably depends on the country.
