Replacement for 500px photo sharing site

I've enjoyed 500px for a few years now in spite of the bot "likes". I've found a few photographers that I really enjoy. But I have reached my end with them when they disallowed all upload apps. Until a few days ago it was possible to upload a photo directly from LR, now it is a true pain to manually upload a LR edited photo. So, I'm asking the community for some ideas for photosharing sites that have a good community of photographers, looking at and commenting on work. All thoughts appreciated.

Since sold to Visual China Group in February I suspect this is not the only change that will occur.

Flickr is the obvious answer but they have problems as well. I have not tried it but possibly Behance?

I've had no issues with flickr except the rare outage at their servers...

I have no problems with Flickr either. Works like a charm straight from LR.

I use Flickr for photo storage. It is good for that, but really lacking in community. The bots own it from that perspective.

I still use and like Flickr. The nice part about it is the groups with a specific interest. I personally haven’t had a “bot” issue with Flickr.

Flickr without a doubt. I almost setup a paid subscription with 500px. Then found out they stopped supporting Lightroom. Then they ended the classes.

Regarding Flickr I can definitely say there is a social aspect to it. There are people that I communicate with.

YouPic is a Swedish based site that is kind of like 500px. They have a LR export plug-in that uploads to the site. But they don't have a Publishing Service like Flickr does.

I've had a couple of issues with signing in to Flickr recently, but I'll forgive them as they've "forgotten"to collect my Pro account subs for the last couple of years.Otherwise I'm happy with them for storage/posting.

Wow! Cool site. Not sure if it'd be the right venue for a photo community replacement but there is a lot of interesting stuff there. Gonna have to spend some time exploring

I think I just fell down the rabbit hole.

thanks boriscleto. I'm going to explore You Pic. It is a bit more complicated than I'm used to, but it seems to have really good bot protection, the photos are high quality and the comments are friendly.

500px seems to be on its way out, especially given recent developments regarding Creative Commons-licensed images. I currently have a website through Zenfolio but I'm considering reverting back to a service like Flickr because I can't really justify the expense (Zenfolio is expensive, although it's one of the cheaper premium hosts).

At the moment youpic is free although there are, as you might expect, options to spend money on extras.

I gave up on youpic. Don't know whether 72dpi is still going, but I didn't feel the images were as good.
500px I still use to test reactions, but the only site I really like is 1x

The photos I've put out on youpic look like the original photos in LR. There may be some size difference, but its not visible to me. Have to look at 1x
