Pentax sighting on the Wild Wild Web

Here I was browsing guitar strap companies, and this comes up:

Gold Sparkle with Black Racer X Camera Strap - Camera Straps

There's an A 50 f2 on it, but I can't tell what film camera it is, nor what the zoom lens on the left is. Happy to come across it!

I prefer leather to old vinyl of unknown provenance. Perhaps they are reinforced enough, but canvas is better for sweat control.

Hopefully they would be reinforced, yes. I'm not generally worried about sweat, as I use a wrist strap for my K-01, and am always dressed when I wear a guitar strap (I tried playing guitar bare-chested at home during a heat wave once, and immediately thought better of it).

I am also dressed when I shoot with my camera also but I still sweat through my shirt when the sun is baking me like the last few weeks.

I have a slim 4V strap that I like quite a bit.

My K-01 sports a Couch red neck strap made from Volkswagen seat vinyl, and my K1 has the red/white stripe that reminds me of the 90s Pentax colors. I like them a lot...

The original thin leather strap that came with at least the earlier Pentax film cameras was a lovely bit of work: strong, durable and discreet, with a padded rubber neck piece to distribute the weight. I had one that came with my then new SP-F, but which I never used until I mounted it on my K-3.
