40 years of cameras

By their launch date, in near 10 year increments:

KM - 1975
Super Program - 1983
PZ-1p - 1994
K10D - 2006
K3II - 2015

Two things that occurred to me: 1) I have too many cameras (doh); 2) it's interesting to think how many things changed between any of these two cameras, and yet the same FA 35 lens will work as intended on any of them.

Not enough. Check back when you are approaching 70.

This Super Program is in much better than mine is.

I don't think you have "too many"; You just evolved over time and kept the older ones.

In fact, I only bought the k3ii new and two of them are older than I am

Hard to say but if this progression keeps the pace, nothing like the k3ii on the inside, and yet familiar.

My favorite part of this is that none of them are just plain outdated. They all still have things to offer!

What? No Auto 110?

To have a complete collection of Pentax SLR's you should have one.

Man, this family shot just has me wishing cameras never adopted that flat black, curvy, big grip, and smoothed out pentaprism design that everyone has. I love the K/M/Super Program look, and would instabuy an APS-C sensored MX-lookalike. While I love the KP for that throwback look, it just doesn't go far enough, not even in the silver colourway.

Mind you, this is coming from someone who finds the Speed Graphic to be a sexy camera, so... :-S

Needs a spotmatic and some M42 lenses. Gotta hit that 50+ mark!
