It would seem the new Ektachrome is getting closer to release

Kodak has begun sending out test rolls of Ektachrome

Any idea if it will be the E6 process to develop? I'm just assuming we'll be able to do it ourselves like the original Ektachrome. I need to send a couple bodies off to Eric for a CLA.

Of course it's E6. It isn't a new film, just a re-release. And Kodak never stopped making the chemicals.

Doesn't the E in E-6 stand for Ektachrome?

I assumed such, but wasn't sure with all the development time to start production again if there was a change in the chemistry or it just took this much to get all the pieces back in production.
