not everyone, vendor or purchaser, is as aware that many components are interchangeable
Then someone selling a filter or a generic flash unit (single contact like the one I linked) could put ".... for Canon, Leica, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax and Sony" to cover all cases. Also, surely owners of such cameras as the K-1, K-3, and Leica M10 would be aware that eg single contact flash units are generic, they are hardly beginners' cameras - leaving aside the question of whether those owners would buy such a rubbish sounding and unbranded unit, with the ad not even saying what operating mode(s) it has.

I think the main reason is, as I said, to wallpaper the Ebay pages with the thing in the hope that the buyer will tire of scrolling through the repeats (I have seen them going on for hundreds of entries, page after page), and simply buy one because it seems to be the only thing on offer. But are people really that stupid? IDK.

Sometimes, TOTALLY! - you only have to read some of the questions posed about products on Amazon!

Multiple times, the same stupid questions are asked because the people asking have not bothered to look at the questions and replies already posted, and/or they actually have NO idea of what they should be looking for

If you ever want a real laugh, look at the camera / photo / optic forums on Fixya.

So you don't need a setup to shoot the iris of people's eyes?

With the lens reversed too. Probably much cheaper than the medical grade Leica setup.

Like Schrodinger's cat that is both dead and alive, this "Mirror-Less DSLR" has a mirror and it does not.

We always used to say "An arrow from Parow". Don't know why.
