No not at all.
You are conflating Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace
Ada Lovelace - Wikipedia and Linda Lovelace the porn star.
Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace was the only "legitimate" child of Lord Byron. She was a skilled mathematician and corresponded with Babbage over many years. She understood the concept behind Babbage's Analytical Engine, which if it had been made, would have been mechanical programmable computer in the modern sense of the word. In a letter to Babbage she described how to set up the Analytical Engine to calculate Bernoulli numbers. This description, from a book she translated from Italian, is considered by most computer geeks to be the first written "program". Several engineering colleges have produced virtual Babbage "engines" and they have demonstrated that Ada's "program" would have worked.
In 1983 the DoD (US Department of Defense) created a computer language known as Ada. (ANSI/MIL-STD-1815A-1983) The 1815A references Ada's year of birth. When I was in college, we used Ada as the language of choice for our upper level programming courses. When I worked at the Lazy B (airplanes, WA state - look it up) the flight deck instrumentation and flight controls on the 777 were written in Ada. (Please note that the word Ada is not capitalized as it is a name - ADA => American Dental Association and a few other things).
Now I understand that you were trying to be a bit light hearted in your comment. However, since I graduated from a college that was basically a Catholic Girl's Institution, I do get just a little "bent" when Ada is slighted by association with pornography.
