An extension lens? Like I have said before, I love it when sellers make up new terms.
They probably think zoom is some kind of social media thing.

I was wondering if the $250 included the washing machine. That's the main thing I've been checking Facebook for. Ours broke a long time ago and I hate going to the laundromat just to use the washer.

A digital film camera, eh?

Kinda like a local strip mall fast food joint here, Teriyaki Pizza.

Doesn't know about cameras and doesn't know how to take a cell phone photo either.

The zoom looks like a PKA with a bent aperture lever. Like someone tried to jam it on the F...

1000 rand ~ 60 US

Not sure about the rest, but the Domiplan was a very "basic" lens for the M42-mount Praktica SLRs - very common and cheap (few $'s at best), and probably not worth bothering with.

OTOH, the Pentacon 50mm f.2 was reputably a decent lens, and the Russki lenses were generally rated pretty well - so the lot might just be worth somewhere near the asking price.

In the 1970s my father used to subscribe to Amateur Photographer magazine. I remember that when they tested a lens they did a graph of sharpness against aperture, and on the same graph they also showed the result from the best lens they had ever found (a Zeiss of some sort) and the worst they had ever found. That worst was the Domiplan.

Despite that, he owned one, with an Exa SLR of around 1960 vintage, which I believe was a "poor man's" Exacta. I inherited it, but I threw camera and lens away long ago.

FWIW, I suspect that that Exa would probably be worth more (for some unfathomable reason ) now than that load of nearly worthless "junk"

Sunpak 383

Anyone want to spend nearly £130 on an ordinary vintage flashgun?

Nothing bad about it as far as we know; it is like a Vivitar 283 plus the ability to swivel the head and vary the manual settings. No TTL or dedication apparently, and one must question the trigger voltage. It is just a silly price, but still low enough to show that the seller seriously expects to get it. Good Pentax AF280Ts (which this thing strongly resembles) go for for less than half this price, and a Vivitar 283 for about a fifth of it. I have tried selling an equivalent (but with TTL and dedication too) Jessops unit on Ebay for 1/20th of this price and no-one was interested

Needless to say the seller, despite being an on-line dealer, give zero details apart from its name and one photo (which looks like a stock one). A pet peeve of mine it that sellers of hot-shoe flash units should have a photo showing the underside of the foot. I believe this has just the single pin. FWIW I looked up the GN and it is 120 in feet / 36 metres.

This guy seems to be a barrel of laughs. How about a Sony Mavica MVC-FD90 for "only" GBP700? It may be new in box but you can do a lot better than 1.2MP for that sort of money these days.

He claims :

.... damned with faint praise.

It looks like the body is designed around a 3.5" floppy disk. As it happens I still have a PC that can read those, but I think I am a rare exception. Otherwise it is a museum piece, and if I wanted one I'd keep an eye open in junk shops and car boot sales.
